Mar 25, 2021 · Among the crowded Netflix thumbnails, Secret Magic Control Agency slots right in alongside something like Son of Bigfoot as a serviceable animated adventure that is probably better than you were expecting but could have been a lot more.
The good: The film has great animation and a good enough soundtrack. The characters and world are vibrant and full of life. The music has the usual grandiose orchestral sweeps we've grown used to in other feel-good family movies. The story is decent enough although it does borrow heavily from other, more popular movies.
