May 30, 2024 · Is it worth it? That's for you to decide, but it's a very fun game with a lot of replayability. Although I have a small game collection, I've reached the point that I basically only play two games: Return to Dark Tower and Firefly: The Game. Both are expensive but both are great and I've played them dozens of times.

The revival may be a good/great game, but it is not unique, nor does it stand apart from its peers. And the fact that the tower itself is not functional 40+ years after the original made it work is just a complete and total cash grab or bail out(maybe both).

I'll chime in with a few thoughts. It is really astonishing how the app and the tower work together. With their sounds and music and the tower's horribly timed actions, the threat feels palpable in a way I've never felt with a board game. The game can be very difficult to win.
