It sounds pathetic. Prior to using Rentafriend, I had preconceived ideas like "it's pathetic to hire friends" and "interactions can't be meaningful if you pay for them." However, I was wrong. I've used Rentafriend twice while vacationing alone. It's a fantastic way to find a personal tour guide and/or activity partner.
I thought it was a really good idea. As a solo traveller it would be nice to meet up with locals who can act as a guide and share fun experiences. So I paid for an annual membership. There were so many problems setting up a profile and getting pictures approved and re-approved. Then when I tried to contact "friends" I got no replies.

Kazuya is a fucking creep, imagine being a stalker just to see if a rental girlfriend is doing her job, to add further for Kazuya if some woman looks good then he'll go after her (in a very simp way), not after their personality. Characters in the show are fucking annoying. There are no likable characters.
