   Is oak Bistro a good place to eat?

   • The food at the Oak Bistro is fabulous, it's certainly not the most glamourous of settings between a Chinese and a taxi firm but the food more than makes up for it. They also have a great wine list. I always have the Beef Wellington which is fantastic but my wife tells me the fish is equally good.

   Is the Oak a good restaurant?

   • We had dinner at the Oak. From the outside the restaurant looks a bit downmarket, but the interior is excellent. We received a friendly welcome and the service was good throughout. The food is high quality with excellent flavours and well presented. However if you are very hungry be aware that you might still be hungry when you leave.

   Is the Oak a good place to eat Xmas lunch?

   • Another annual visit to the Oak for the home office Xmas lunch. Food as always fantastic with great wine recommendations. Service is always intelligent and appropriate. Can’t recommend this place highly enough fresh well presented food. Interesting wine list. We love it !
