- Metal Gear Solid to this day still holds up incredibly well for a game released in 1998, and of course some mechanics such as choking can sometimes be a little clunky and imprecise, but it nonetheless delivers a peak gaming experience for someone who has already played the franchise or is experiencing it for the first time, especially if you enjoy narrative-driven games and are looking for a very solid (no pun intended) stealth experience.

Play it, it's one of the best games ever made and the entire series revolves around the events that happen in it. I'll always recommend to play it on Easy however (regular Easy, not Very Easy), that was the original Japanese difficulty the game was designed around.
