- His Cape. Like any true superhero, Flashy Flash wears a cape. This is actually a little unusual for guys who are fast, since a cape would probably slow them down.
He abandoned a lucrative reputation as a top ninja and risked his life simply to make the world a better place and stop The Village's evil deeds. So yeah, Flashy Flash is a jerk with his own sensibilities and problems, but he is a genuine hero in most regards.

Flashy Flash was sold by his parents to the Ninja Village at the age of 5. Despite trying multiple times to escape the facility, he always failed and was severely punished each time. Flash claims that the numerous scars upon his body were a result of the punishments he received.
There was no reason for them to be left alive, Blast and Saitma know where the ninja leader currently is. He is the only one who knows about GOD. The ninja fodder can die or survive and it makes no difference in the story, but it will go well with Flashy's character
