In the realm of "so bad, it's good" films, 'Deep Rising' (1998) is definitely a film to behold. With clunky dialogue, unlimited ammo, and the tagline "Women and children first...you're next.", it makes for an awesomely bad, yet enjoyable film.
Overall, if you haven't seen this movie, do yourself a favor and go watch it! This is a cult classic that may not have done well at the box office, but is worth watching more than once for a good time.

Oct 27, 2023 · “Deep Rising” spends far too much time repeating the same broad beats without getting into any important details. It’s always a bad sign when you learn more from the information cards during the credits than during the documentary itself.
Deep Rising Combines a heist movie with a monster movie and does so in typical 90's fashion, with guns, bad CGI and cheesy characters. All the characters had a role to play and drifted very little from that narrow path they walked, the actors doing the same with their performances.
