Days of Darkness is a 2007 American horror film written and directed by Jake Kennedy. Survivors of a zombie apocalypse, including a young couple played by Travis Brorsen and Roshelle Pattison, seek shelter in an abandoned military complex while they attempt to figure out what has caused the outbreak.
After dust from a passing comet gives rise to ravenous zombies, several survivors take shelter in a makeshift fortress and try to fight off the hungry horde.

While there is an appealing sense of humour throughout that movie, it is ultimately heartrending. "Day of darkness", on the other hand, is a biting satire. There are claims that the movie transforms magically, towards the end, into a work of poignant emotion.

Days of Darkness is a much better sci-fi horror film than I expected, there's some nice if unspectacular plot twists (which some people can't seem to grasp), the character's are better than usual, the effects are better than usual & at only 80 odd minutes it's pretty short.
