Feb 4, 2010 · INTRODUCTION Dark Heart of Uukrul(DHoU) is certainly a challenging game! Perhaps it throws too much at you at once. You need to be efficient with improving your party and some of the puzzles are real mindbenders. Worse yet, the PC doesn't let you edit the save-game file, although it does, a lot, without you knowing it.

The title villain in Dark Heart of Uukrul, doesn't just dabble in near-immortality and nasty magic. He's crushed the underground city of Eriosthe beneath his will, eradicating hackneyed old hinty taverns so you must rely on his oblique concern-trolling hints. He's scattered eight stone pieces of his heart through the city to gain immortailty.

Apr 14, 2018 · The Dark Heart Of Uukrul (aka Uukrul or TDHOU) was a joint project of Martin Buis and Ian Boswell while they were studying together at Auckland University (New Zealand) in the early 80s, influenced by RPGs of the time such as the Wizardry series, but giving it another perspective about the way of doing things. They did most things together, from programming to puzzles and content.
