It is very different, I recommend it. The MC girl is very emotionless for understandable reasons which I won't tell since it be a spoil. Then the MC male is stubborn and persistent which causes 'supernatural' things to occur.

Personally I prefer the way manga goes compared to anime, since it's more faithful to the source.
Yes, its a fairly good show. Animation is strong, some pretty good characters and great twists. It does get a bit over the top at times, but not enough to seriously damage the show.
