Martin somehow maintains a brisk pace across more than 1000 pages, giving the reader many hours of enjoyment (in conjunction with a good arm-strengthening exercise).
Reading it felt more like a chore than fun, and I'm just wondering if anyone has an opinion on "A Dance with Dragons" they're willing to share. Is it like "A Feast for Crows" or does it capture more of what the first three books were like?
