Being a Sixer or Seconder gives you a great opportunity to meet some of the requirements of the Team Leader Challenge Award. You could lead your Six in a game or activity to meet requirement one, or ask your Six what they want to do in Cubs and feedback to adults to meet requirement four.
The Six system provides a way of organising a Cub Scout Pack. Ideally, a Sixer should have some qualities and abilities from the following list: Mixes well with other Cub Scouts. Has some experience as a Cub Scout. Sets a good example to younger Cub Scouts. Attends regularly and is reliable.
Here are some qualities and abilities to think about when selecting a Sixer or Seconder: Do they mix well with others? Have they some experience as a Cub Scout? Will they set a good example and be a positive role model for their Six? Are they reliable? Do they attend regularly? Are they a keen member?
