It's a great overall bike. I did a test ride last september and it was a lot of fun. Since a lot of the bike based on it's bigger brother (FZ1) I am sure you will find the size to be OK. I almost bought it - but after a test-ride of the street triple went with that (lighter, more power, better handling).

Oct 18, 2011 · Best suited to calmly filtering through traffic and rewarding on swift open roads. Unfortunately the Fazer8’s suspension is not adjustable and if you start to push it through late breaking and fast direction changes its all-round ‘designed averageness’ starts to show through.

Sep 12, 2010 · The FZ8 is quite capable of mustering impressive pace at the track so it's certainly no bouncy castle but a nice balance of aggro and supple. Still, some adjustment of the suspension would be nice. The forks lack even preload adjustment, the shock offers only preload but no damping adjustment.
