Wimbledon Park is the name of an urban park in Wimbledon and also of the suburb south and east of the park and the Wimbledon Park tube station. The park itself is 27 hectares (67 acres) in area. [2] The All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club is immediately to the west of the park.

Located next to the All England Lawn Tennis Club, Wimbledon Park is one of the largest in Merton, and has many facilities including a large lake, athletics track, play areas, tennis courts, paddling pool and adventure golf.
There are entrances for vehicles and pedestrians on Revelstoke Road in the east and Wimbledon Park Road in the northwest. There is also a pedestrian entrance on Home Park Road. Google Maps

Swimming is not allowed in the lake. The AELTC’s Wimbledon Park Project will see an extensive area of private land turned into a year-round public park, significantly increasing the green space available to local communities.
A new, 4 acre public park at the northern entrance to the site, adjacent to the entrance to the existing Wimbledon Park. The proposed northern parkland will be accessible year-round, outside of the Qualifying Competition and The Championships.

Wimbledon Park is in divided usage: a major part, c 29ha, is a private golf course, c 19ha is a public park, and c 3ha a private sports club, the remaining 9ha being the lake. The main entrance to the public park from Wimbledon Park Road leads c 3m along an asphalt path before dividing.

Jul 8, 2021 · Wimbledon has revealed their plans to create a new public park spanning across 23 acres. The All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) announced the proposals on Wednesday, as part of an ambitious expansion project following the club's purchase of Wimbledon Park Golf Club.
