Walk Among Us was originally slated for release in 1981 on the band's own label, Plan 9 Records, but was neither pressed nor released due to a lack of financing. [ 5 ] [ 6 ] After several independent labels on the West Coast took interest in releasing the album, and it was released in the United States on 12" LP by Ruby Records , an imprint of Slash Records , in March 1982.
