Synopsis

PlayStation 2 port
After Vampire Night, Sega adopted Namco's practice of porting System 246 titles to the PlayStation 2.Tomoyasu did not develop the game with a PlayStation 2 port in mind. Development of the port was "painful"; WOW Entertainment was still unfamiliar with the System 246, and an audio bug was found shortly before the game's release, resulting in a last-minute scramble to fix it. Ideas for new levels and enemies in the Special Modewere scrapped, as they were deemed unrealistic to fulfill.
A PlayStation 2 port of the game with additional game modes was released in Japan on December 6, 2006.
