Parallels will work, flat out, it's pretty dang cool. UTM is also cool, but in a v diff way. I'm teaching myself QEMU, as many programs are just glorified front ends for QEMU (Nutanix I believe runs on QEMU).

For macOS, UTM is better as whilst both utilise the Apple Hypervisor framework, UTM has implemented paravirtualized graphics support, making it infinitely better than the typically crap software GPU acceleration that most mac VMs suffer with.
