The best order to watch Trollhunters, 3Below, and Wizards is Trollhunters: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, 3Below: Part 1, Part 2, Wizards, and Rise of the Titans.
Which is confusing as while I do love The Dragon Prince its nine episode run time results in plots being rushed at times and I feel that Trollhunter is of better quality than it. Mainly because it is more consistent in terms of quality( season 1 shows exactly whats so good about the series while I can,t say the same for The Dragon Prince season 1).
The story feels so good, it's polished, it's detailed, and has depth, like when (season 3 spoilers) Angor Rot turned his back on Morgana, that didn't just randomly happen because of one event. Heck, I even enjoyed the little comedic moments with Tobias. Even things, like the the role of being a Trollhunter, have weight to it.
Parents need to know that Trollhunters is an action-packed series based on the Guillermo del Toro book about a mild-mannered teen who becomes a hero in a secret world of trolls. The story follows the protagonist in both dimensions -- the trolls' world and his regular world as a high school student -- as he stands up to bad guys in both scenarios.

May 23, 2018 · The more serious tone of season 3 doesn't mean that Trollhunters is utterly devoid of humor. This is a series that doesn't shy away from a good fart joke, and the comedy helps to lighten the mood when the stakes begin to rise. The core relationships of the characters are also not forgotten as Trollhunters veers towards its climactic battle.
