If you want a deeper campaign, paradox is the way to go, if you want battles, total war is the way to go. Also one big problem I have with campaign only games is how insanely easy they become once you learn the mechanics.
May 20, 2019 · The reason is because paradox games were always way more deeper and challenging than total war. Another great thing is that paradox have a lot more replay value their games remain fun years after release because every campaign feels like a completely different experience.
The movie (Total War) is more action focused and in the moment, while the book (Paradox) might take their time explaining somethings, and then take their time to actually get into the real plot. Both are acceptable though, and both can easily be enjoyed.
