I'll keep it short. Thierry Henry was two finals away from being mentioned in the top ever players. 2006 hurt him badly. To have won the Champions League and the World Cup would've cemented him as a mythical figure. To have done it in the same year, just a couple of months away from each other, would've made Thierry Henry a fairy tale of football.
