While Endgame is definitely a proper sequel, the difference between it and Infinity War as far as tone and what the movie is actually about (Thanos then the Avengers). I’d argue that Thanos’ amazing presence in Infinity War is better than anything in Endgame.

But seeing the Mad Titan take care of them, albeit having to exert more effort, in Endgame without any of the gems was impressive.
