Hidden treasure white sand beach. Oct 2024 • Friends. Stinson Beach is one of my favorite beaches to visit when we are in the area. There is a long expanse of white sand and cool rock formations on one end. It is a peaceful place to walk the beach, listen to the waves hitting the beach and relax.

Jul 18, 2017 · The Pacific Ocean is freezing cold at Stinson Beach so a wetsuit is essential. You can walk along the beach for several miles. There are several restaurants in town, a 5 minute walk from the beach. The snack shack at the beach has a good variety of burgers, tacos, burritos, etc, and despite lines seems to get food out quickly.
