The movie is overstuffed with pointless characters and exposition (we touched upon that earlier) to the point where every single tiny bit of the plot, backstory and characterization is explained in excruciating detail. I see Revelation kind of like the first SH movie: if I shut my brain off and just visually take it in, it's enjoyable. That being said, it was much harder for me to do that with Revelation. Also, no puking up of a fetus God.

Silent Hill: Revelation is clearly an overly sanitized cash-grab, failing to capture the game’s essence.
