Nov 1, 2014 · But why are all the other wolves grey with golden eyes with the exception of Shaggydog who is black with green eyes? Could it mean something? Maybe the grey wolves are all destined to die (Lady and Grey Wind are already dead) and in the end it will be the white wolf vs. the black wolf.

Shaggydog is Rickon's savage direwolf, he's been known to attack others (Luwin, Walders) due to Rickon's wild nature (all the Stark children are wargs to some extent). In the post I linked above, I noticed that Shaggydog didn't attack Osha for hitting Rickon:
