Yes, definitely. Great story and plot that unfortunately receives a quicker ending than it should have. Maybe it’s because I watched it during my college years, but it felt like a really formative show. It’s not going to be like any of the shows you’ve listed above, but it’s worth the watch.
The other poster also had a good point about the unapologetic liberal tone pushing some people away from the show. However, the show is anchored by some fantastic directing and cinematography. There are some really powerful scenes over the course of the season, and at times the writing does get really good. It just doesn't stay there.

Much as they did with “ Cloud Atlas,” the Wachowskis are. traditional narrative understanding. To complain that “Sense8” doesn’t make. traditional sense is to undervalue how it’s working more emotionally and philosophically.
