Samson himself is a legendary hero, but he uses violence to deal with many problems. The Philistines, especially the cold-blooded king, the homicidal prince, and the brutal and incompetent soldiers are all clearly meant to be seen negatively.

Samson is a movie that is filled with the best of intentions, but sadly it doesn’t succeed in its delivery. While the lower budget didn’t impede the production as one might predict, the film is crippled by its lack of ingenuity and creative flair on the technical side of its presentation.
