Jan 19, 2012 · I just recently watched Robot Carnival again after 10 years or so went by, and it's still in my top 10 for my favorite Japanese animation films. I can see why some people may not like it since it seems a little more artsy then more present day anime, but segements like Cloud, Presence and Nightmare and just beautiful.
Robot Carnival is unique. It's hard to recommend to anyone who enjoys complex characters and stories. But for anyone who just loves raw animation and visual talent this OVA is a no brainer. If you're on the fence, Robot Carnival is definitely worth the watch ...
