Richard Dawson Kiel (September 13, 1939 – September 10, 2014) [1] was an American actor. Standing 7 ft 2 in (218 cm) tall and often referred to as "the Gentle Giant", he was known for portraying Jaws in The Spy Who Loved Me (1977) and Moonraker (1979).
