Pony Town Event is like a separate standalone game, time-limited, but always has the same version with the original game. Pony Town Event has the import skin option, meaning your skins have to be manually transfer them from original game into the event game, same with your action bar if you're willing to do it too.

The Event Server is an official server where events such as conventions are hosted. The difference between the event server and the main server is that the event server is only open whenever an event is hosted and the main server is always open.
