   • The ending to Penny Dreadful just did not feel at all like a natural ending. It came off really rushed and kinda hollow. Totally unlike the rest of the series. I dunno, the whole thing was kinda whack. That ending was the definition of "this is why we can't have nice things" lol. My husband and I loved this serous.

   What I appreciate in Penny Dreadful is its artistry, its poetic dialogue and its theme. It does contain some scary moments, especially the first season, but horror is subjective. What is definitely certain however, is that it does not rely on cheap tactics such as jump scares to scare you.
