Next Day Air might had been better as a stoner comedy, Instead it stops being funny as it too often tries to become a violent soaked action movie. A couple of petty criminals receive a drug shipment mistakenly delivered to them by pot headed courier Leo (Donald Faison.) The cocaine was meant for their Latino neighbour Jesus.

Next Day Air was both an amusing stoner comedy and an entertaining crime film- but the entire film was confused on what it really wanted to be. The final half an hour was complete chaos and was absolutely unexpected from a stoner comedy. Fun time, yet still a very odd film.

May 8, 2009 · ‘Next Day Air’ tells the story of Leo Jackson (Faison), stoner delivery guy that works at his mom’s delivery service Next Day Air. After his mother (Debbie Allen of Fame ) gives him the “come to Jesus” speech and threatens to fire him if he screws up again, Leo goes out and gets stoned just before delivering a ton of Grade A cocaine to a couple of idiotic criminals.
