Despite some of the comments I've read I always thought Moose Hunters was a funny cartoon. I laughed at the scene when the moose blows off Donald & Goofy's costume. The moose fight at the end was pretty good.

Genuinely funny for a Disney cartoon of this era - that moose is animated so lanky and heavy and HORNY. Plus, that opening shot is sublime - the reveal gives you all the context you need to understand everything.
Goofy & the Duck act together as a team - their impersonation of a female moose is hilarious - while Mickey's rather peripheral role foreshadows his eventual eclipse as Disney's most popular cartoon star.
