Jul 11, 2015 · I have loved Maximum Ride since I read the first three books right around the time the third book came out. (This was nine years ago, people.) I was young and impressionable, and Max was my hero. Even when the next books came out (which are generally regarded as the start of the decline of the series), I still loved Max's story.
