  4. It's a CC, so you'll be in a diverse student population. Stay focused on your work and ace the classes so you can transfer and get on with your goals in computer science. There are under utilized scholarships available through LACC Foundation. There isn't much of a student life.

If your goal is to attend a UC like UCLA, a Cal State like CSULB, or maybe even USC, then I highly recommend Santa Monica College, as their education is really good, and they’ve been the number one transfer school to top CA universities for a while. Pasadena city college I hear is also really good, but I can only vouch for SMC since I went there.
