Heaven is a real place where the people of God will live one day. In fact, heaven is where God and the angels live. John 14:1-3 even says that Jesus is in heaven preparing a place for us to live.

Jesus, of course, in His resurrection body is in heaven. Too, angels and deceased believers are in this heaven with God; as God's creation, they exist in time and space. So heaven is not completely non-physical, but it is not in a location in our physical universe.
