Yes, it's 5 of the best games ever in one package that is usually $16. And besides Halo 3, it's basically the absolute definitive way to play them all basically (and the MCC version of Halo 3 still is pretty great). And yes, it's the perfect way to get involved with the series since it is the first games.
And I seen that the master chief collection was on sale for 15$ on steam It seems like a very good deal. But is the multiplayer still popular today or does it take forever to find games cause of the new halo that's out. It's an Xbox 360 game in high resolution so it still decidedly looks that era which is alright with me. A fast paced game of moderate length is a great start to the Halo universe. Halo may have been built for the Xbox controller but it sure as hell plays better with keyboard/mouse. Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary.
