Dec 19, 2021 · The B2 Goethe exam is in B2 German, but it doesn’t test you on B2 German. It tests how well you can take the test. So don’t prep your German, prep your test-taking. We needed about 5 months to reach and finish the B1 and take the Goethe official exam. After roughly two months, we ended the B2 module and took the Goethe exam. I passed on my first try on both exams, but on B2 one third of the class had to retake one competence (lesen or hören, everything else was okay).
