no it's not good. There is some bait and switch at the beginning which paints the anime as some dark stuff but ultimately it's an extremely generic fantasy anime, none of the characters are interesting and the plot basically goes nowhere. Shield Hero and Overlord are far superior.
Goblin Slayer as a character is great to watch as he’s pretty much solely focused on killing goblins which is always entertaining animation wise, and as time passes he begins to slowly opening up to the other characters.

Never ended up finishing it. If you want to watch it, go for it, but if you want a dark fantasy anime, there are countless better options. In my opinion, it's just kind of below average. The first episode shocked a lot of people, but aside from that there's not much that's notable about the series. 3.
