   • Glenrothes is not the most attractive places in Fife. It does have a good shopping area and the surrounding places all over Fife are really nice, some of them are stunning. Not far from Glenrothes there is Falkland Hill a good 40 minutes walk to get to the top but in a sunny day you can see the Kingdom of Fife borders and Edinburgh.

   May 15, 2007 · glenrothes is very central, so you could commute from lots of different places or stay there. its a new town, not very familiar with good areas and bad. no bad roads for commuting. there are lots of little villages round about like Freuchie, Falkland, and Ladybank.
