Such is the case with Monogram Pictures' Ghosts on the Loose, a dreadfully dull effort for the East Side Kids that fails to generate any haunted house hijinks. (My parents wanted to watch a horror film with me, but since my 85-year-old father does not exactly love the genre, he was given the option to choose from a variety of comedies and this is where we ended up.)
