Jun 13, 2018 · Despite a long and uncertain journey not unlike his fellow X-Men Deadpool, it appears that the Gambit film is still very much on the slate of X-Men films actively in development by Fox.
Gambit was scheduled for release on March 13, 2020, but development of the film was placed on hold due to the acquisition of 21st Century Fox by Disney. After taking over the film, Disney officially cancelled it in May 2019.
