  3. It's nice to be able to automate things for weak mobs you would just auto attack to death anyway. Just still keep an eye on things and strategize and control as needed for harder fights or set up different gambits. Use all 12 jobs, without overlapping. It'll at least throw a lot of variety into the characters.

    • The Destroyer: Monk/Bushi, Knight/Bushi, White Mage/Time Battlemage
    • Versatility Is King: Foebreaker/Shikari, White Mage/Machinist, Black Mage/Monk

In FFXII, you can set a number of conditions that trigger specific actions, so while you control one character the others can hold their own for basic stuff like healing, buffing, etc.
