   It’s a good one! I think myself, and a lot of others, would say X is the best entry point. The PS1 era games all have the fixed camera angle and wonky movement, which can turn some people off. Just a bit dated to be the best entry point, imo. Absolutely worth going back to if you get into the series, tho.

   I heard someone say that Final Fantasy IX is the best Final Fantasy game for Dragon Quest fans.    It´s very fairytale-ish. If you want a great story, incredible character development, some romance, some comedy, beautiful music and an overall colorful world in which you can easily dive in, you will love Final Fantasy IX. Don´t expect gore or a fast paced battle system tho.
