It’s basically Star Wars with dragons (overly reductive, I know). If you’re a Star Wars fan then there’s a high chance you’ll like Eragon. Book One is the weakest - but is an excellent read! Paolini was 13, I think, when it was published and it has all the trappings of a younger writer’s book.
