   Is Dumb & Dumber a prequel?

   • The prequel is okay if you pretend it's a standalone film and not a prequel to Dumb and Dumber. Having watched Dumb and Dumber Too (I think is the title) only once, take the following with that caveat. I'm not sure the main issue with the sequel comes from Harry and Lloyd. It comes from fundamentally misunderstanding the core of the first film.

   Recommendation. Watching Dumb and Dumber for the umpteenth time and it is a literal masterpiece! Jim Carrey was firing on all cylinders and at the peak of his game. Jeff Daniel was the perfect foil to act off of Jim's hilarity and really held his own and wasn't overshadowed at all.
