Sep 20, 2015 · To play Co-op you simply press "new game" , choose a character, and after that you are in this boat thing. You just need to play this whole misson (basically its the Tutorial) After that you are stranded on this big Island. Great!
Due to the fact you can transfer over your character's stats progression and that the plot is a direct follow-up to Dead Island, I strongly recommend playing them in chronological order (Dead Island, then Riptide) so as to not get the original game ruined.
