Cry of Fear is a first-person indie survival horror game developed by independent Swedish studio Team Psykskallar. Though originally a mod for the video game Half-Life in 2012, it was released as a standalone product the following year.
Half-Life 1 Single player TC mods have a lot of high quality entries. I've always been meaning to try Cry of Fear though I remember in the past it got a lot of punches against it for some reason near it's release so it's good to see interest rebound in it.
Cry of Fear originally started out as a total Half-Life conversion, set in the same vein as the classic survival horror games of old. Four years in the making and picking up several modding awards on the way, it is now a free, standalone game for anyone to enjoy.
