   • Choate can foster growth, but it does not create student success. Students, themselves, create their own success. I’ve learned that coming to Choate with the sole goal of attending a good college enables a toxic mindset. Before arriving at Choate, students are often the “golden child” of their hometown, excelling in academics and extracurriculars.

   What is life like at Choate?

   • The sports at Choate are a central aspect of campus life. Most students are involved in some way with one of the programs whether it be Varsity, JV, or club teams. I played squash and I ran cross country. Both teams were very close-knit and we had a great time together. I made some of my best friends through the teams.
