The certain part of the beach is very crowded with a lot of bars n restaurants, water sports, beach massage facilities etc. In this part sunbeds with umbrellas are easily available but it is little dirty due to a lot of hawkers. Mar 1, 2023 · Spent yesterday at Chaweng beach (by Lipsmackers), the sea was pretty rough & not ideal for swimming. However most days it’s pretty calm. Up by Elephant beach bar (by the reef), it was much calmer. Lots of people out on the bean bags in the water. Beach is clean (compared with others). It’s perfect for a long beach walk.
