Bubblegum is a grey-blue koala with pink ears and a white belly.
Bubblegum was released in June 2009 with the first-ever beanie boos. They were not released in the second batch, and instead replaced with Kooky the Koala. Bubblegum was the second beanie boo to ever retire, officially making them second rarest (first is Original Peanut the Elephant).

May 13, 2021 · Bubblegum the koala is another one of the first Beanie Boos ever released. Like its brethren, it has gone through significant changes since its debut. Rather than appearance, Bubblegum’s namesake changed shortly after its release. Ironically, Kooky, the newer version of Bubblegum, is also rare as it was discontinued in 2010. Did you know?

Kooky the Koala was introduced on 1st October 2009. Kooky was originally released under the name “Bubblegum“, but was later changed to Kooky in the second release. The only difference between the Kooky and Bubblegum koalas are the swing tag and tush tags. Kooky retired on 28th June 2010.

Apr 24, 2013 · In August 2009, the second release of beanie boos were released. Peanut had disappreared and the original Bubblegum (the koala) was renamed kooky. A new pink lemur appeared named Bubblegum and a Bush Baby also was released named Cleo.
